Coronavirus: deaths outside China dramatically increased

The number of deaths from coronavirus outside China has increased and exceeded those in China. As John Hopkins University reports, 3,217 have died in China and 3,296 have died in other regions.

The number of cases outside China has also surpassed those in the original center of the outbreak. It is said that there are about 81,020 registered infections in China and about 88,367 cases in other countries.

According to the WHO, Europe is a new epicenter of the pandemic. Italy has the largest number of both registered cases (24,747) and deaths (1,809).

China, on the other hand, is experiencing decline in number of new registered cases and deaths (there were 36 new cases and 14 new deaths yesterday).
