Weather warning issued for Malaga

The Spanish State Agency of Meteorology issued a weather warning for Malaga on Thursday, January 23. The “orange” alert (second to the “red” alert indicating the most severe weather) will be maintained throughout the whole day. The “yellow” alert may be effective even tomorrow, on Friday, January 24.

Regions of the Costa del Sol and the Guadalhorce Valley are said to be under the maximum threat of bad weather.

The сity is suffering from a hail storm and a thunderstorm. The streets are covered with a white blanket of snow and people are afraid of possible electrical cuts.

Meteorologists say that up to 30 litres per square meter of rain could fall in one hour. Temperature is expected to be between 13 degrees and 16 degrees, according to Euro Weekly News.
