The GSB is the premier kiteboarding location in the NY Metropolitan area located under 1 hour from New York City. The Dinghy Shop is located on the Great South Bay, with our own sandy beach and vistas across to the ocean dunes. We have a store and a large show room for the boats on-site. If you come by water we're just north of buoy 20.

Just as Charlie's first store was in 1962, today's Bunger surf shop is a great place to hang out, talk about Right Coast surfing with locals, check out some great memorabilia and buy current surf products. The surfing museum Charlie opened in 1990 is now a part of the shop and features classic old photos, an original Tom Blake paddleboard and boards from the Bunger family collection of some 150 vintage boards. Suffolk Marine Bait & Tackle is located in the quaint village of Babylon. The shop is also accessible by water on the shore road canal. The bait shop stocks a full line of live and frozen bait as well as tackle from Shimano, Accurate, Van Stall, Penn Okuma and much more.
