Goldlined Seabream inhabit rocky reefs and sandy bottoms in the Mediterranean and eastern Atlantic. With golden stripes along their flanks, they feed on mollusks, crustaceans, and small fish. Prized for delicate flavor, they are targeted by both commercial and recreational fishers. They favor warm shallows near seagrass beds.
