The Royal Harwich Yacht Club is based in a stunning new clubhouse at Woolverstone, on the banks of the beautiful River Orwell in Suffolk, a few miles east of Ipswich. It's a fabulous location, not just for dinghy sailing and as a great base for cruising, but also for relaxing on the lawn enjoying a drink or a meal overlooking the river! At the Royal Harwich Yacht Club, we offer: a warm welcome to all new members, whatever their level of sailing experience an active programme of yacht, dinghy and keelboat racing for all the benefits of an RYA Training Centre offering theory and practical courses dinghy training and introductory courses for junior and adults fantastic marina and mooring facilities for the benefit of members many cruising opportunities in beautiful local waters and further afield
