Seasonality: Snook and tarpon are the primary inshore targets at the Skyway Bridge area in Pinellas and Manatee counties, Florida, year-round, with snook most active in the warmer months and tarpon most reliably encountered in spring and summer. Gag grouper and red grouper are nearshore structure fish most catchable in spring and fall. Goliath grouper (catch-and-release only) are year-round at the bridge structure. Mangrove snapper are year-round.
