Seasonality: Redfish (red drum) and spotted seatrout are the primary inshore species at Ponce Inlet year-round, with the best action in fall for redfish and spring and fall for seatrout. Snook are most active in the warmer months from spring through early fall. Southern flounder (uncommon term for flounder in this region) are a fall-run species.
