Seasonality: Summer flounder (fluke) and scup (porgy) are the primary targets in Peconic Bay in Suffolk County, New York, from May through September, with summer flounder best in summer and scup most abundant from June through October. Weakfish are fall visitors. Striped bass are spring and fall migrants through the bay. Bluefish are abundant through summer and fall.
