Seasonality: Red drum and spotted seatrout are the primary inshore targets at Nocatee in St. Johns County, Florida, on the Intracoastal Waterway, year-round, with redfish best in fall and seatrout most productive in spring and fall. Flounder and black drum are cool-season species. Sheepshead are year-round structure fish. Nocatee is a master-planned community adjacent to the St. Johns River estuary.
