Seasonality: Striped bass are the primary year-round sport fish in Mobjack Bay, with the best action in fall (September-October) during the Chesapeake Bay fall striper run and in spring (April-June). Spotted seatrout peak in spring and fall on the grass flats. Red drum are present year-round with a fall run. Flounder are a fall-run species from October through December.
