The Royal Yachting Association Scotland (RYA Scotland) has two distinct roles. Firstly we are a membership organisation charged with looking after the interests of individuals, clubs, training centres and affiliates of the RYA in Scotland. Secondly we are the recognised governing body for sailing in all it’s forms in Scotland.

The Royal Forth Yacht Club has been in existence since 1868. It incorporates the Royal Eastern Yacht Club (founded in 1835) and the Almond Yacht Club (founded in 1897). As such it is the oldest sailing club on the Firth of Forth.
EDC is Edinburgh’s oldest, most established diving centre. Set up in 1979, the Centre has grown in size and reputation and now comprises a retail outlet, an equipment servicing and testing centre and a training facility.
