The club is very informal and friendly. We meet most Friday nights, either at a local pub (The Old Kings Head on Stock Road) or once a month, at the Mayflower School where we use the pool for training and skills practice. The membership is small but active, and we try to arrange at least one dive and social event each month. You can find out more about our upcoming trips and events via the menu on the left. We are also quite adventurous and the last few years have seen us arranging trips as far afield as the Maldives, Africa and Iceland.

Basildon Angling Centre is a friendly family-run business catering for anglers in the Basildon area. We don't do mail order because we'd rather see our customers and talk to them face-to-face.

Sea Cadets is different from school. There's a lot of learning. But it's done through activities – on the water, on land and in the unit – and our volunteers leading by example. Teenagers meet other cadets at events around the UK, and on trips abroad. They become comfortable with people from different places and backgrounds, which can make going out into the world so much easier later on.
