Attitash opened in January 1965 and was known as the "red carpet ski area" for it customer service. Attitash focused on limiting lift lines by selling a limited amount of tickets. Attitash expanded over time and by the late 80s, Attitash boosted its snowmaking capabilities, followed by the Bear Peak expansion in 1994.
