Regatta Sailing Academy was established by Mike and Christine Lawton in 1996. Their aim was to introduce as many people as possible to the great sport of Sailing. Originally based at the Sheraton hotel, the Academy has taught thousands of people to sail; some started very young and continued to progress as far as sailing for their country in international competitions, others have chartered yachts and explored all corners of the globe.
