Seasonality: Snapper and grouper are the primary offshore targets from Ponce de Leon Inlet in Volusia County, Florida, year-round, with the best action in spring and fall for grouper and summer for red snapper (subject to federal season). Cobia and amberjack are spring and summer offshore visitors. Mahi-mahi, wahoo, and blackfin tuna are warm-season pelagic species.
