At popSUP, safety is very important to us so we make sure to provide you with the safety gear and on-water knowledge you'll need to feel confident while paddling at one of Seattle's most popular Lakes.

Queen City Yacht Club is located on Portage Bay in Seattle, WA, and has been a part of the United States boating community since 1916. We are a charter member of the Grand Fourteen Yacht Clubs in Puget Sound, and with an active membership of over 500 power and sail boaters, we offer our members a myriad of activities, including social functions, our junior summer sailing school, and participation in community events. Boat moorage slips, both covered and open, up to 60' are offered exclusively for members.

Seattle Yacht Club is home to more than 2,500 members. The Club hosts a world-class junior sailing program, which has given a start to numerous Olympians and generations of Northwest sailors. The PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating sets you apart as a dive instructor who takes continuing education seriously and is committed to teaching a variety of courses. Being an MSDT signifies that you’ve got the experience and certifications to offer all the training a diver needs to become a Master Scuba Diver – the ultimate recreational diver rating.

The Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center is a Seattle Parks and Recreation facility. Its recreation programs are co-sponsored by Seattle Parks and the Mount Baker Boating Advisory Council. The Council is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization made of up of volunteers who are dedicated to the success of this facility, as expressed in our mission statement.

Silent World was founded in 1972. For over 40 years, our basic premise has been "Quality not Quantity". We aren't the "Quick and Cheap" as this approach just doesn't create safe and comfortable divers. You will never see 3-day weekend classes at Silent World! We take the extra time needed to be sure our customers are safe, comfortable and ready. That being said, we're always striving to improve and grow. Our staff is a reflection of that.
