When we surf a wave we are relating to more than just water moving in various different ways and shapes. Waves are pure energy in liquid state which can provoke pleasure or fear, joy or frustration, victory or defeat but always a feeling of interior well-being at the end of a surf day. This direct relationship with nature and its countless sensations make surfing something so unique and special that only someone who surfs is capable of feeling it. This has been our passion for over 20 years and it is a very important part of our lives. Making it possible for other people to discover this new experience and prepare them to deal with the sea in its various conditions, led us to open the “Guincho Surf School” in the summer of 2000. Come and catch some waves with us!

As aulas podem ser ministradas em qualquer praia da área de Lisboa, desde que esta reúna as condições de segurança mínimas admissíveis. A escola base é na praia do Guincho, no entanto como algumas vezes não é possível ali dar aulas devido ás condições, mudamos as aulas para outras praias da zona da Caparica, Lagoa de Albufeira ou Alcochete para facilitar a aprendizagem do aluno. Por isto podemos dizer até que a escola é 100% móvel, dando aulas onde as condições são melhores.

Surf classes and courses are with qualified instructors and we aim to teach you to surf and at the same time provide safety and fun. Our surf instructors speak various languages and are ready to help you whilst having your surf lessons and on the beach if you have any questions. We provide all equipment with the surf class/course price and you can keep all your personal items in the surf school. We look forward to teaching you to surf at our fantastic beach.
