Welcome to the ski school & ski rental of the Berghexn in Bodenmais in the ski paradise of the Bavarian forest under the great Arber. The school has 2 ski rental shops, one located in the middle of your winter sports place of the ground corn and the 2. directly on the ski slopes in a rustic ski hut in the ski resort Riedl mountain under the Great Arber.

The great Arber is with its 1456 meters the highest mountain of the Bavarian-bohemian massif and therefore the " king of the Bavarian Forest“.

Thanks to its location, it is possible from the windows of the apartments to see the highest peak of the Šumava mountains Arber 1456 m, šumava Špičák and ridges of the bohemian forest. Beautiful surroundings attracts to walks and walking tours, the surrounding area is literally interwoven with a network of bike routes. In the winter it offers excellent conditions for skiing families with children and a variety of running routes, both on the Czech and the German side.

Tělovýchovná jednota TATRAN Železná Ruda is located at an altitude of 754 m in the valley of the river Cutting and is surrounded on all sides by mountain peaks. Its location creates Iron Ore ideal conditions for both winter and summer tourism and recreation.

A ski school can be found directly at the departure station of the cable car in the Ski&Bike Špičák, where is the admissions office and the main office. Our second office you will find in the Iron Ore in the Skiarálu Above the station. Their wide programming range to cater to all who want to learn to ski or snowboard, or just improve.
