California Fly Shop has been in business for over 25 years. From our humble roots 25 years ago to the 4,500 square foot store we have today, our focus has been on preparing our customers to fly fish the world. From Hatch and Galvan reels, to Sage, Winston and Scott rods, to bags, waders and clothing from Patagonia and Simms, we have the gear you need to go fishing. Fly fishing on stillwater? We have pontoon boats and float tubes to get you safely across the lake.

The Peninsula Yacht Club (PYC) carries on under the big old tannery tank in Redwood City California. The tank itself is landmark, and the building below makes a fabulous, funky club house. As you cross the front porch and enter the front door you find yourself in the front room boasting a full bar and dining room. Off to the right is the dance hall, providing room for the band and for us to dance. Beyond that we have a full galley where dinners are served just about every Friday night. And out back is the back bar with a couple of dart boards and a nice big pool table (no cost to play).
