In the upper valley of the Freiberger Mulde Holzhau is located. With about 600 guest beds and numerous Restaurants, Holzhau enjoys a great popularity with winter vacationers especially in the winter months. The area around Holzhau is well known not only because of very well developed cross-country ski trails but also because of the ski slope with 2 ski lifts.
