No doubt, the national parks are the best spots for hiking in the US. Maybe it is a bit strange to call them "spots" considering their large area but why not, especially speaking about many other activities like biking, kayaking, climbing, and others, you can do there.

For this summer season, we've compiled the list of all 63 U.S. national parks weather forecasts, which you can now find as spots on the Wind Map in the app and on this website. To make it easier for you to navigate them, we've ranked the parks not by alphabet or the number of visitors, but by the popularity of your search of the parks in Google.

Choose a park that's closer to you or the one you like better and go for the weather forecast page. There you'll find a detailed and accurate forecast for today and the next 10 days, including temperature, precipitation and wind, and other weather parameters.

Zion National Park

Zion National Park is one of the most popular parks in the United States in the last few years, which is located in the heart of Utah, not far from the town of Springdale. The park's main feature is the Zion Canyon, composed of red and bronze-colored mountains. The canyon was formed by the Virginia River in the Navajo Sandstone rocks. Its total length is 24 kilometers (15 miles) and its depth is 800 meters (2,640 ft).

Sequoia National Park is one of the three oldest national parks in the United States, which is located in the southern part of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California. The main feature of the park is a forest consisting of giant sequoia trees, including the largest tree by volume of wood in the world, called the "General Sherman" (1500 cubic meters). The forest is also home to five more of the 10 largest trees in the world.

Glacier National Park is one of the largest national parks in the United States, which is located in the Rocky Mountains of northern Montana. The main feature of the park is rich wildlife: vast pine and spruce forests with 1132 species of plants and 322 species of animals; 130 lakes, including the main McDonald Lake, and 37 glaciers, and, not least of all, the magnificent mountains that can be seen walking along the park's numerous trails.

Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the five most visited national parks in the United States, located in Colorado northwest of the city of Boulder, second largest to Denver. The main feature of the park is the Rocky Mountains themselves, their flora and fauna, and excellent infrastructure for outdoor activities: an extensive network of hiking trails and many campgrounds. The Colorado River flows through the park.

Yellowstone National Park is the main national park in the USA and the first park of its kind in the world (not only in the US), which is located in three states: Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho in the north of the country. The main feature of the park is numerous geysers, including the famous Grotto Geyser, thanks to which it is also a biosphere reserve and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are only three other places in the world with active geysers: Iceland, Kamchatka (Russia), Chile, and New Zealand.

Arches National Park is one of five national parks in Utah, also known under the collective tourist brand as the " Mighty Five," located near the town of Moab. The main feature of the park is 2,000 natural arches "built" in the local Entrada Sandstone rocks by nature itself as a result of erosion and weathering. The most famous arch is called the "Delicate Arch", it is (2-foot-tall (16 m). It is also the place with the highest density of such arches in the world.

Yosemite National Park is the most popular park located near San Francisco, California. The main feature of the park is the world-famous vertical wall-like mountains called El Capitan and Half Dome, belonging to the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, which has been the exact attraction for climbers for years, including free solo climbing without any ropes. Since 1984, it has also been a Unesco World Heritage Site, thanks to the wildlife that makes up 95 percent of the park.

Shenandoah National Park is one of the major national parks on the East Coast of the US, which is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia, where the river of the same name also flows. The main feature of the park, besides the wilderness (40 percent of the area) is the 105-mile (169 km) Skyline Drive along the park's entire length. There are dozens of viewpoints on both sides of the ridge, hiking trails also start from here.

Joshua Tree National Park is one of the 10 most popular national parks in terms of visitors, located at the intersection of the Mojave Desert and the Sonoran Desert in California near the city of Palm Springs. The main feature of the park is a complex of rock formations, as well as numerous trees called Joshua Trees (Yucca brevifolia) — a genus of perennial shrubs and trees in the family Asparagaceae, subfamily Agavoideae.

Big Bend National Park is one of the major national parks in the southern United States, located in Texas right on the border with Mexico. The main feature of the park is its natural landscape, which includes the Rio Grande River, 3060 km long, which forms a huge canyon; Mount Emory, 2385 meters high in the Chisos Mountains range and the numerous cactus growing in the rocky soil in the Chihuahuan Desert ecoregion, a part of which the park exists.

Pinnacles National Park is one of California's national parks, located near the town of Soledad just east of the famous wine-producing Salinas Valley. The main feature of the park that gave it its name is the numerous rock formations — the weathered remains of an extinct volcano in the San Andreas Fault. These rock formations made spectacular pinnacles that attract rock climbers to the park. There are also unusual talus caves in the area.

Olympic National Park is one of the top 10 most popular national parks in the U.S. by visitors, located on the peninsula with the same name in northwestern Washington state near the city of Seattle. The main feature of the park is the unique flora and fauna that has been preserved here thanks to the isolation from the mainland, so the park is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also home to the mountains of the same name with lakes, more than 60 glaciers, and other natural resources.

At the southern tip of the island, the famous Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse is perched on the cliffs.
