GGuest 20 July 2022Strandhill in Sligo is an exposed beach/sandbar break that has fairly consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds blow from the southeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the optimum swell angle is from the west northwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights Best around high tide. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Take care of rocks in the line up. From surf-forecast.com
