Spot Features: Saguaro Lake is a 1,264-acre reservoir in Maricopa County, Arizona, in the Tonto National Forest east of Mesa, created by the Stewart Mountain Dam on the Salt River, with excellent largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, yellow bass, black crappie, and channel catfish fishing in the beautiful Sonoran Desert canyon lake setting. Seasonality: Largemouth bass and smallmouth bass are the primary targets in Saguaro Lake in Maricopa County, Arizona, year-round, with bass most active in spring (March-May) and fall. Yellow bass are an unusual species present in Saguaro. Black crappie and channel catfish are warm-season species. Saguaro Lake has a 5 mph speed limit on the lower end.
