Despite the rather grandiose name of Maldon 'Yacht' Club, the club is actually a small dinghy sailing club. We have a racing fleet that takes part in organised races throughout the year & plenty of 'potterers' who sail for fun whenever they can, tides & weather permitting.
Our aims are to promote the sport of sailing and the art of seamanship through training as an RYA accredited centre. We also have an active sailing and social programme and welcome new members who have an interest in the water and would either like to become actively involved with their own vessel or via our crew wanted scheme
Our beautiful vessels provide an unusual and memorable venue for all kinds of events, whether you are looking for a venue for a birthday party or wedding anniversary, somewhere to entertain clients or staff, or a day out for your club with a difference.
JP Tackle's expert and knowledgeable staff are always on hand to provide honest, unbiased advice on any query that you may have, and can also offer advice on rigs, tactics and the best venues to target that catch of a lifetime.

There are heated showers and toilets for bertholders too. The yard has a crane, slip and trolleys. There is a waiting list for berths.
