Gray Triggerfish inhabit reefs in the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico. Olive-gray with tall dorsal fins and strong jaws, they crush crabs, clams, and sea urchins. Curious and bold, they are often caught while bottom fishing. Triggerfish are admired for their sweet, firm flesh and tenacity on light tackle.
