Triakis semifasciata
Leopard Sharks, with their striking dark saddle patterns, cruise shallow bays and sandy bottoms along the Pacific coast of North America. Generally harmless, they feed on crabs, clams, and small fish. They school in large groups in estuaries, especially during summer, making them popular with shore and kayak anglers.
