Piked Dogfish, or spiny dogfish, are small sharks found worldwide in temperate seas. With sharp dorsal spines, they school in vast numbers. Feeding on fish, squid, and crustaceans, they are notorious for raiding nets. Once overfished, they are now under conservation. Though edible, they are mostly bycatch in sport fishing.
