Lewisville Lake supports excellent largemouth bass, white bass, hybrid striped bass, white crappie, and catfish fishing within the DFW metroplex area. Seasonality: Largemouth bass are the primary target in Lewisville Lake in Denton County, Texas, year-round, with the best action in spring (March-May) during the spawn and fall (September-November). White bass and hybrid striped bass are most active in spring (white bass run) and fall. White crappie are a winter and spring species.
