Spot Features: The Jetties at Port Aransas (Port Aransas Jetties) in Nueces and San Patricio counties, Texas, are the rock jetties guarding the Aransas Pass inlet, providing excellent jetty fishing for redfish, spotted seatrout, southern flounder, sheepshead, and black drum. (Related to 50058 Aransas Pass.) Seasonality: Redfish (red drum) and spotted seatrout are the primary inshore targets at the Jetties at Port Aransas in Nueces/San Patricio counties, Texas (duplicate/alternate - see also 50058 Aransas Pass), year-round, with redfish best in fall and seatrout most productive in spring and fall. Southern flounder and sheepshead are cool-season species. The Port A jetties are excellent fishing structures.
