Seasonality: Redfish (red drum) and speckled trout are the primary inshore targets at St. George Island in Franklin County, Florida, year-round, with redfish best in fall and seatrout most productive in spring and fall. Flounder and pompano are fall species. Spanish mackerel are a warm-season nearshore visitor. The St. George Island State Park beach provides excellent surf fishing access.
