Walleye are targeted by trolling crankbaits and jig-and-minnow rigs, largemouth bass in the vegetated coves with soft plastics, northern pike with large swimbaits near the weed edges, yellow perch on small minnow rigs in fall. Seasonality: Walleye are the primary sport fish at Lake Noquebay, with peak fishing in spring during the spawning run and in fall. Yellow perch are most catchable in fall and through the ice in Wisconsin winters. Largemouth bass peak in spring during spawning. Northern pike are most aggressive in spring and fall.
