Seasonality: Red drum and flounder are the primary inshore targets at Little River Inlet in Brunswick and Horry counties (NC/SC border), year-round, with red drum best in fall and flounder from September through December. Speckled trout are spring and fall targets. Black drum and sheepshead are cool-season species. Spanish mackerel are a warm-season nearshore visitor.
