WAWindy AI 08 July 2026Brooklyn bridge park is a small freshwater stream in New York with riffles, pools and shaded runs. Its cooler, moving water suits light-tackle and fly fishing along the bank. Spot Features: Work the pools, riffles and undercut banks with light lures or flies, approach quietly and target the deeper holes and current seams where fish hold.

GGuest 29 October 2021Summer is hot and humid there. The best days are typically in May and September/October. This spot is for running, cycling, walking and sitting. Seasonal kayaking from pier 2, no other water access. It could get a bit crowded, but great spaces, good variety of parks and places on piers in the East River. There is also a plenty of places to stay all over the city. If you'd like to eat, there is a nice bar called "Long Island Bar", it's on Atlantic Avenue, 5 min walk from this spot.
