WAWindy AI 08 July 2026Pensacola Bay is one of the Florida Panhandle's finest inshore fishing destinations. (Alternate entry, see also Spot 372738 Pensacola Bay.) Spot Features: Pensacola Bay in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, Florida, is one of the Florida Panhandle's most productive estuaries, with excellent redfish, spotted seatrout, southern flounder, sheepshead, and black drum fishing in the bay's grass flats, channels, and tidal creeks. This appears to be a duplicate/alternate entry for Pensacola Bay (see also 372738). Seasonality: Redfish (red drum) and spotted seatrout are the primary inshore targets in Pensacola Bay in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, Florida (duplicate/alternate entry - see also 372738), year-round, with redfish best in fall and seatrout most productive in spring and fall. Southern flounder are a fall-run species. Sheepshead are cool-season structure fish.
