Spot Features: South Mobile Bay/Middle area in Baldwin and Mobile counties, Alabama, encompasses the southern and middle sections of Mobile Bay, with productive grass flats, channels, and oyster reefs supporting spotted seatrout, redfish, flounder, sheepshead, and black drum. (Alternate/duplicate of 23755 Mobile Bay.) Seasonality: Spotted seatrout and redfish are the primary inshore targets in the South Mobile Bay/Middle area in Baldwin and Mobile counties, Alabama (duplicate/alternate - see also 23755 Mobile Bay), year-round, with seatrout best in spring and fall and redfish year-round with a fall peak. Flounder and sheepshead are cool-season species.
