About this spot

Fishing info

  • Experience

Fishing amenities at the spot include basic offerings such as parking and picnic areas with a focus on family-friendly, bank fishing accessibility. A notable presence of largemouth bass, up to 4 lbs, along with other species offers substantial opportunities for anglers, though larger fish might prove sparse on some days. The absence of facilities such as bathrooms or tackle shops may affect longer visits.

  • Tips

For the best fishing conditions, it is recommended to plan visits during months historically experiencing lighter winds for optimal casting. Pre-spawn periods are ideal for bass fishing using lures like senkos. Be prepared for muddy conditions due to rain, which can impact bank fishing access and stability.

  • Fishing seasons

Fall months like October offer ideal visibility and calm conditions. However, summer months experience higher temperatures and precipitation, while transitional months can have sudden spikes in wind speed, particularly in September, potentially creating less ideal fishing conditions.
