Spot Features: Imperial River in Lee County, Florida, flows through the Bonita Springs area into Estero Bay, with excellent snook, redfish, spotted seatrout, tarpon, and largemouth bass (in the freshwater upper sections) and mangrove snapper fishing in the diverse tidal and freshwater river sections. Seasonality: Snook and redfish are the primary inshore targets in the Imperial River in Lee County, Florida, near Bonita Springs (related to the Bonita Springs/Estero Bay area - see also 8226761 Narrows Cove and other Lee County entries), year-round, with snook most active in the warmer months and tarpon from spring through summer.
