Spot Features: Summit Lake is a small Washington lowland lake managed by WDFW with stocked rainbow trout and resident kokanee, largemouth bass, and smallmouth bass. Bass anglers work the vegetated margins and rocky points, trout and kokanee are targeted by trolling small spinners or Wedding Ring rigs at varying depths, smallmouth bass near submerged rocks and gravel. Seasonality: Rainbow trout are stocked at Summit Lake and provide good fishing from spring through fall in the mild Washington lowland climate. Kokanee salmon are most active through spring and early summer and again in fall during their pre-spawn period. Largemouth bass are active from spring through fall, peaking in spring during spawning. Smallmouth bass are most aggressive in late spring and summer near rocky structure.
