Yellowfin Croaker inhabit sandy beaches and bays along the Pacific coast of North America. Recognized by their yellow fins and croaking sounds, they feed on worms, clams, and small fish. Commonly caught by surf anglers, they school in shallow waters, especially in summer, and are considered good eating fish.
