Small and medium waves spot. Hayama is OK for riders of any level. Recommended wind for kitesurfing is wind coming from S, SSW, SW and WSW, W. Cold in winter (6 mm wetsuit or drysuit mandatory). Hot in summer (bodysuit recommended). Due to the two mass of land: Chiba on the East and Yokohama area on the West, there is a Venturi effect with South wind on this beach. The wind is therefore good but usually strait onshore. Probably the best spot for Tokyo after the rainy season (Mid July to August) with thermal building up in the afternoon.
