Perfect place for snowkiting. Huge open space (the width of the lake is 6.5 km, the length is 9.5 km), even wind, the lake is blown from all directions, excellent snow cover. You can rent a warm and cozy house near the kite station.

The best place for snowkiting I've ever visited. The lake is gorgeous, the snow is deep (around 15 cm.), the wind is favorable. Not only professionals, but also newbies could find this place worth visiting. I stayed there at Surfpoint and enjoyed my time there. However, you'd better bring the food with you there. This place is also great in spring or summer. I've heard that people enjoyed windsurfing there too.
