Seasonality: Redfish (red drum) and flounder are the primary inshore targets at Mayport in Duval County, Florida, year-round, with redfish best in fall and flounder from September through December. Black drum and sheepshead are cool-season structure fish. Spotted seatrout are spring and fall targets. Snook are warm-season species near the inlet.
