Lindo 29 March 2022There is all wind directions running into the bay. Running from Swannick, Dolphin sands and Swansea there is somewhere to get out on the water within minutes of swansea. Swansea has plenty of shallow training ground with safety aspects best covered from the north to south east winds. Living here for over a year id say there is wind 300+ days of the year. Not always strong but mostly moderate 15knt to some 20+Knt days. There is easy parking all along the beach and a grassy area at Waterloo point and a great cafe Coastal Wholefoods Cafe Providore Overlooking the bay. Swansea use to hold sailing regattas every weekend until the sailing youth got dried up and moved out. Since moving here in 2020 I've not seen any windsurfing, kite or other living here only the occasional tourists.
