Spot Features: Bayou Vista in Galveston County, Texas, is a waterfront community on the west side of Galveston Bay adjacent to Chocolate Bay and West Bay, with excellent access to the productive Galveston Bay inshore fishing for redfish, spotted seatrout, southern flounder, black drum, and sheepshead from the community boat ramps. Seasonality: Redfish (red drum) and spotted seatrout are the primary inshore targets at Bayou Vista in Galveston County, Texas, on the west side of the Galveston Bay system, year-round, with redfish best in fall and seatrout most productive in spring and fall. Southern flounder are a fall-run species. Black drum and sheepshead are cool-season species.
