Improved formula for calculating the kite size and windsurf sail size recommendation

In the new versions of the iOS and Android apps from August 15, 2022, we have improved the formula to calculate the kite size and windsurf sail size recommendation.

This is one of the most interesting and useful features of the app which helps you choose the size of your kitesurfing and windsurfing equipment and allows you to take only the right equipment with you on the trip and not have several kites or sails with you everywhere.

In particular, the new formula takes better account of air density. Also, don't forget to specify your weight, which is also an important parameter. To do this, go to Units from the Settings in the Main Menu of the app.

Update your versions of the Windy.app in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
