We are a yacht club that has, as its primary purpose, the obligation ‘to promote and facilitate community participation in the sport of yachting, sailing and the safe use of all types of boat for pleasure.’ Our membership largely reflects this ambition and the Club’s activities are built around this premise.

Birch Hall is a Christian outdoor education centre for all ages to have fun, to learn, to develop confidence and to spend time enjoying this beautiful part of the Essex coast. At Birch Hall we run activities that encourage young people and adults to take up the challenges that life presents them and live it to the full. Our activities are designed for school groups, other organisations and private parties and involve a range of education and adventure to build teamwork, confidence and self-esteem. Activities are tailored to the needs of each group and are selected so that they will best meet their aims.

Titchmarsh Marina, located on the Essex Coast, is independently owned and operated by the Titchmarsh family with over 400 berths including linear pontoons and foreshore moorings for smaller craft. The site offers high standards and full marina facilities. Titchmarsh Marina boasts a peaceful and sheltered location situated within the unique Walton Backwaters which is an area of outstanding natural beauty and a site of special scientific interest.

We offer a selection of new and used boats for sale, along with a wide range of marine services. We have offices in Essex, UK and Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. We are UK dealers for Dufour Yachts covering the East Coast, South East and Mediterranean, offering new Exclusive, Grand’Large, Performance and Drakkar ranges of sailing yachts.

Dolphin Sails are an independent sailmaker operating from two Lofts in Essex. We provide the full range of services that a yachtsman needs when it comes to sails and canvas work.

H&DSC is a warm and friendly sailing club. All the club work is carried out by members who volunteer to do the jobs, from litter picking and mowing to building the club house itself, and of course running the bar. We have a full race calendar and plenty of social trips from simple evening barbeques and overnighters to fleet cruises away. Many of our members have sailed all their lives and have a world of experience that new members can tap into.

Harwich Town Sailing Club, is a warm friendly sailing club committed to promoting sailing as an all round family activity in all it's forms, from championship racing to pottering about in and around the harbour area. Over the years, the club has helped many sailors become national and even world champions in their class.

Tackle Up's first shop was opened on Walton High Street Felixstowe in 2000, and after a 2 years we needed to expand to bigger premises, we relocated to Bridge road in Felixstowe in 2002 and we have been expanding the range of products that we stock ever since, through our website, eBay and now Amazon as well.

Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club provides great leisure and competitive sailing at all states of the tide from the River Deben in Suffolk on the East Coast. Our club has been the host of many large classes such as Fireflys, Dart 18s, 505s for their nationals and is well known throughout the catamaran sailing community. No matter what you sail, whether it’s a windsurfer, kitesurfer, cruiser, mono-hull or multi-hull we will welcome you with open arms to a great sailing and social club. We have a thriving Youth Sailing section which caters for our younger members and a new 18-25 group for our more adventurous students.
