Crowsheath Fishery is an award winning day ticket carp fishing lake situated in the heart of Essex on green belt land far away from passing traffic and busy towns. The lakes are set in a 110 acres of farmland, woodland and rolling countryside.

More than 54 acres of the center of the forest, the Ski & Snowboard Center offers a variety of skiing and snowboarding

The four lakes at Puddledock have been created to offer a good mix of species and varied habitats. The owners at Puddledock always strive to keep a clean and tidy well kept site with friendly staff who do their best to advise when asked. There is also a 60 seater cafe and modern toilet facilities. All swims have a slabbed platform for comfortable fishing. It is a particularly flat site, making access for the elderly and disabled very easy.

After being established for 21 years, Ockendon Bait & Tackle moved to a bigger, purpose built premises located at Puddledock Farm Fishery. This enabled us to expand all ranges of bait and equipment, in particular specialist carp. We continually meet new customers while retaining customers as far back to our very first trading day 23+ years ago.

Diverse Scuba are one of the leading 5 STAR PADI IDC dive centres in the UK providing scuba diving courses and services to the Essex region as well as London and South East UK.

The club is very informal and friendly. We meet most Friday nights, either at a local pub (The Old Kings Head on Stock Road) or once a month, at the Mayflower School where we use the pool for training and skills practice. The membership is small but active, and we try to arrange at least one dive and social event each month. We are also quite adventurous and the last few years have seen us arranging trips as far afield as the Maldives, Africa and Iceland.
