A spot featuring the Tramuntana wind from the Pyrenees and steady sea breezes in the summer months. The long sandy Bay of Roses, on the Mediterranean coast, only 30 km away south of the French border, has been a favourite spot for windsurfers for decades. The ION CLUB Golf de Roses centre, at the southern end of the bay is situated between Sant Pere Pescador and L' Escala. The ION CLUB centre is located in the 4-star campsite and bungalow park La Ballena Alegre Costa Brava. The campsite will be the venue this year again for the PWA Worldcup event taking place right beside the ION CLUB centre.
Our Dive Center Scuba Alegre is located between Sant Pere Pescador and l'Escala, next to the ruins of Empúries in the Costa Brava, inside the Bungalow-Park La Ballena Alegre. We are open from May untill September, we welcome customers from La Ballena Alegre as well as outsiders are also very welcome to learn how to dive with us, also experienced divers, we will show you the best dive sites arround Costa del Montgrí and the Area of Cap de Creus, a great Natural Park!
En Ventilador kite-school hace años que nos dedicamos a iniciar a los apasionados del viento en todos los deportes de tracción con cometas: buggy, mountainboarding, snowkiting, kiteski y, desde 1998, KITESURF. Somos una de las escuelas pioneras en España y hemos desarrollado nuestro propio método pedagógico para que los practicantes de todos los niveles puedan progresar con facilidad y total seguridad.
La principal finalitat d'aquest centre és la de promoure l'esport nàutic i fluvial, a més d’incloure serveis nàutics i un port d'amarratges. Disposa de 150 amarres, servei de rampa, grua i gasolinera per a les embarcacions. El Club Nàutic Sant Pere compta també amb un ampli pàrquing per a cotxes, bar i restaurant. Pels seus voltants es construí, posteriorment, una petita urbanització que porta el mateix nom.
