Spot Features: Moses Lake is a 6,800-acre natural saline lake in Grant County, Washington, in the Columbia Basin, recharged by Columbia River water through irrigation. Walleye are targeted by trolling crankbaits and jig-and-minnow rigs, smallmouth bass along the rocky structure, largemouth bass in the vegetated bays, crappie around brush piles in spring. Seasonality: Walleye are the primary sport fish at Moses Lake, with peak fishing in spring during the spawning period and in fall. Largemouth bass and smallmouth bass are active from spring through fall. Crappie are excellent in spring during the spawn. The mild Columbia Basin climate allows fishing from early spring through late fall.
