Spot Features: Nantucket Sound is the body of water south of Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard, east of Nantucket, featuring the diverse habitat of Vineyard Sound, Nantucket Sound, and adjacent waters that support striped bass, bluefish, summer flounder, and tautog. Seasonality: Striped bass are the primary target in Nantucket Sound from spring (May-June) and fall (September-October) during their coastal migrations. Bluefish are abundant through summer and fall. Summer flounder are the prime summer target. Tautog are available on rocky structure in spring and fall.
